Netscape abandons linux? Netscape 8 is brand new, and still under developement. It never was compatible for anything other than windows. Give it a chance, and one day it will be compatible on all systems.

There will be, sometime in the future, a Mac and Linux version I would suspect. But at the moment, Netscape doesn't have the resources available for anything other than a Windows version.
