Your "opinion". My "opinion" is that SkyPilot is nicer therefore our opinions cancel and we're back to square one! ;-)

Seriously ..

The new modern is nice and clean and pleasing to the eye. The splash screen in SkyPilot is much more interesting and a better prelude to the theme inside. Important thing is that theme authors are getting on the band-wagon, choice is a wonderful thing!!

Yes, it's very nice and it's great to see another theme join the ranks.

One can only wait breathlessly to see the next theme(s) additions!

It's a very nice theme, clean and simple.

Skypilot Classic is another nice one.

Dunno what it is about the default Comet theme and this new one but with the new one, all of my bookmarks on the PTB and inside folders on the PTB are UNDERLINED !!! They aren't in SkyPilot which has once again returned as my default theme because of this anomaly.

Hmm, that's not as glaring a recommendation as I had hoped. It sounds like "give me any other theme that doesn't underline my bookmarks, even Pimpzilla, and I'd switch on a dime!" :-)

If I understand correctly Comet theme has the same behavior. So to say;

"The deficiencies noted in Comet are inherited in Modern Modoki in most cases."

I know lowandsh (theme author) also tried to make a narrow PTB version, but abandoned due to tickers problem.

Anyway, I'll let him know about this issue.

I didn't say "in most cases", just the underlined bookmarks. Otherwise the new theme works just fine.

No, "not on a dime" but rather test 'em ALL out until I am satisfied that it works 100% and so far that one is SkyPilot <stroke stroke stroke> :-)

I was just pullin' your leg :-) I fully realize that theme preferences are a matter of taste and really am not offended by any negative comments reagrding any theme I'm maintaining.

Good stuff, the more themes the better, it looks like the browser won't be updated or out of beta anytime soon so don't worry about the re-work - let's see more themes!

Now Modern Modoki is version 1.02.

Your PTB bookmark problem should have been fixed on this version.

In addition, you can make PTB narrower. Screenshot attached.

Yes, bookmark underlining now fixed. But how do I make the PTB narrower, the screenshot you provided doesn't show that, only the sidebar.
