Eight previously unknown species were found alive in an Israeli cave that had been completely sealed for millions of years, scientists said. And these truly bizarre-looking creatures have no eyes. Do you think there might be more caves with prehistoric animals like this?
The prehistoric ecosystem was discovered at a quarry in Ramle, in central Israel, and named the Ayalon Cave. Scientists from the prestigious Hebrew University found a maze of tunnels and a lake that had been sealed probably for about five million years.
Dr. Amos Frumkin said that he believes the cave's ecosystem dates back to when what is now Israel was covered by the Mediterranean Sea. Preliminary DNA tests of the creatures proved these were previously unknown animals. He said the cave that extends about 2.5 kilometers is under a layer of chalk water cannot penetrate.
Four seawater and freshwater crustaceans, including those that resemble shrimp and scorpion, and four terrestrial species have been found so far in the cave. All were alive except one. These species are believed to be millions of years old and kept its own evolutionary tree.
Unlike many other animals on Earth, these creatures do not depend on sunlight and developed their own ecosystem. The researchers expect to find more animals, including those that feed on the scorpion, for example.
Do you think there might be more caves with prehistoric animals like this?

First of all most of science has figured out Darwin and evolution is a little bit of a stretch for reality seekers. Many don't for a second believe the extreme manipulation of "facts' they are presenting in its support. They can demostrate things happening, but in no way does it support their preposterous advancement of such dead, unscientific speculation.
Across the board science has disproved these thoughtless and unfounded ideas. True science involves looking at evidence. Which can be manipulated one way or the other or allowed to be what it is. Just like in a murder case. Sorry O.J., but evidence suggested you were guilty. You are still free. Evidence suggests we have no such thing as evolution just adaptation. Yet, evolution is still free. Purported to be "evidence"!!! Wake up, we don't believe you. Mainly your arguments start with your science, but it doesn't remain there. Where science stops speculation starts. Intelligent design is starting to undo the stupidity. Yet, it is only the beginning. Soon, we shall know all of this without a doubt.
But, it is fun to watch you squirm when the facts come out and it shows something other than what you say is pure scientific evidence. People who believe in evolution are people that can be led directions an places supporting evolution which make them look as fools. Yet, they will still maintain their position. In politics, we would call this, well, suicide and the end of a career. In your cases, it is a cause to rally behind and applaude. Politicians at times do this publicly to the populace. However, just like you, the public can see the holes in the arguments. Finally, you lose your credibility and ability to get an audience. Except, for those extreme people who, no matter how evident the truth they choose to stick to the presentation. They like it better no matter how you show them it is wrong. Kinda like smoking. After many years it doesn't matter how bad it is for you, you enjoy it and it satisfies what you want and that's all that matters. Right. So, believe evolution.
Don't call it science though. Even though you use science to advance it. I could use certain scientific methods to illustrate that the earth is flat and that our eyes make it seem round. Using certain elements of ocular design and an unknowing public. They would have to accept the evidence as true. Not that it is. Just is proven to be true. Though, in reality it would be false. If you are for real, question the paradigm. Look at the evidence and put forth right thinking. Saying all of this around us just came together because certain amino acids and chemicals and forces coalesced is pure amateur in thought. Just doesn't ring true no matter how you say it.
There are so many simple tools around. But, they can't make themselves. We must make specific tools for specific jobs. In nature we see this. Were they just evolved into being. Mathmatically it is astronomically small chance of happening. If you believe in underdogs though, you can't help but wish that evolution could maybe possibly be. But, if you take that to Las Vegas and based on evidence state the odds. Would you then make the bet....I think not if your life was the bet. BW. Alameda, California.
