There is a problem with this theme. The customization panel has a caption for the navigation throbber, but no image of it, and when I tried to drag the caption to the right topside of the browser window it disappeared. There is nothing there, and I can't drag it back to the panel. Restoring the browser to its default settings didn't restore the throbber, or make it reappear either! Where'd it vanish to?! This was not a problem in previous MM wintitle bar themes!

Okay,  I've managed to find it by showing small, or large icons with text in the navigational toolbar. There is no throbber image, just a caption saying Navigational Throbber. There is still no image of one.

I've posted your findings, hope that's OK, onto sillydog.org so they'll make their way back to lowandsh.

Maybe its time for a Modern Modoki thread around here......?

Modern Modoki 2.02 was done at least in partt at my request, but probably only minimally at my request. It purposely loses the throbber, in the upper left hand corner. That corner is used by the rest of the world to close software. So, that is why it is called  "native."

There is no need for anyone who does not like this version  of this popular theme to adopt it. I requested it because there was precedent in, I believe, 1.16.

I see no reason to run Netscape any differently than I run other software. BTW, Seamonkey has a throbber in its toolbars, which is fine for anyone who wants to use a throbber.

We aren't talking about the upper lefthand corner, we're talking about the upper righthand corner, which is missing, or lacking a throbber. This closing mechanism has nothing to with the throbber. The X is for that purpose. The throbber is part of the browser navigation. There is no throbber to add from the customization panel.

Agreed, and this part of the port works just fine, you now get you own favourite windows titlebar colouring and you can now left click rather than right click in the top left to control the window.

>  Seamonkey has a throbber in its toolbars, which is fine for anyone who wants to use a throbber.

NS8 also has a throbber, load up Winscape and you'll see it.......

......In fact if you look in the screenshot for MM (Win) 2.02 on lowandsh's site, it also shows a throbber on the right of the navigation toolbar, but just like middletonhunter reported, it's also missing when I use the theme.....  Is it appearing on yours....?

PS. Thanks for prompting another NS8 8.1 theme into life.

You have the hiccups, Macallan? ;-)

Yes, thats it. The throbber from the screenshot is not what you get when you download this theme.

Confirmed the problem, and sorry for inconvenience.

Lowandsh has uploaded a new theme file with fix, version 2.02 - 060311.
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~denshizuno/nb8-theme/modoki-family.en.html
It worked fine here.

Please update your theme file. Thank you.

I've put SkyP,  no idea why it disappeared, except I goofed with the editing..........

If possible, try and reply to this message, then I can continue to edit the table....

......it always turns out tricker creating a new post then editing an old one.

PS.  is this effort resulting in more theme downloads... or is it just a pretty table...?

Edit:  Wither cOLD Fusion also,  I'll try and put him back.....  major goof with the editing.....

There has been a slight increase in theme downloads of late but it's hard to know what, exactly, to attribute it to since I've been making changes along the way, too? Anyway, I think the consolidated theme table is a good idea and a worthy effort and, surely, it has had the effect of making this, and other, themes more visible.

Maybe you need to enable auto update, then you'd get a good view of the number of installations, even if not the number of actual users....?

>  Anyway, I think the consolidated theme table is a good idea and a worthy effort and, surely, it has had the effect of making this, and other, themes more visible.

It's just getting a little too large a message to fit happily into these boards,  as todays edit shows......

.....Anyway I guess it's an improvement on the current Theme Park.

There's a couple of reasons I don't enable auto-update but the biggest is that, at times, I update a theme several times even in one day. Most times the changes are simply cosmetic and I suspect most folks wouldn't be too pleased with the update feature for my themes  :-)

Also, my site stats don't list all unique IP addresses, only the top 20, as I recall? I suppose I could get a better feel for it if I saved the stats page on a daily basis; rather than monthly but then the work to sort all that out becomes an issue. Right now I'm content with monthly aggregate totals.
