Hi all,

Jen's contest ends shortly, and I thought I'd keep the ball rolling with a new one. We've seen lots of pics of Spymaster's Lady sitting on the shelves of various bookstores, but it's hard to get a sense from that of just how far and wide the story has travelled, since we can't see past the shelves to what's outside. Therefore, the new contest is <drumroll>:

Where in the world is Spymaster's Lady?

I'll post the contest on my blog sometime over the weekend, and then I'll post the link here. I'll get you to take a picture of Spymaster's Lady in an interesting location. I'm not necessarily looking for the Bahamas or Turkey or Australia (though by the sounds of things we could get all of those!)- just an interesting local landmark, or a place unique to where you live. You might have to email me the pics to post, but I'll figure that out when I get to it <g>

The prize will be a handmade Firefly Designs book thong bookmark- I can custom make it for the winner in your preferred colours. Oh, and I might prevail upon Jo herself to judge the contest <g>

Hey all,

Eeek! I went away for the Australia Day long weekend (it's like our Independence Day) and found myself stranded without an Internet connection for three days. I'll get around to this momentarily- it's looking like the prize will now include a signed copy of Spymaster's Lady thanks to the fabulous Jo...

Oh, and Beth- the judging criteria were going to be purely arbitrary <g>. I'll get back to you with details once I've discussed more with Jo.

Hi all,

The next contest for The Spymaster's Lady is now open, until Sunday February 16th. Let us know where in the world your copy of The Spymaster's Lady is located by snapping a photo of the book at an interesting location. See my blog for more details, and remember, I'm in Australia, so almost anywhere is going to be interesting to me, no matter where you live <g>. Jo will be judging the contest herself, looking at which photo she likes best- or in the event of too many great photos (likely), we'll be turning back to the old random draw.

The prize is a signed copy of The Spymaster's Lady, plus a handmade Firefly Designs book thong bookmark (featuring rose quartz, amethyst, mookiate and sterling silver).

Please spread the word, and link to the contest in your blogs if you're so inclined!

The last two are in gif format which accounts for their "out of this world" fuzziness. (g)
