Did you know that these magnificent undersea swimmers are actually air-breathers?

Able to hold their breath for long periods of time, they ascend to the surface periodically and exhale Carbon dioxide and inhale great quantities of air before returning to their undersea home.

But they're air-breathers -- just like you and me!

These sea turtles are seen in a rare terrestrial moment on a beach in Hawaii.  Do you know the only occasions on which sea turtles climb up to the land?
