I purchased the Jet Bag a few months ago to use for my Mira and I am very disappointed. I wanted to use it instead of my regular case but found that it was just too flimsy and I feel like the Mira will just fall out, although, I'm sure it won't. It's not secure at all. If it were raining or drizzling, there are so many gaps that the machine would get wet. I can't imagine that someone would have designed something as shabby as this and charge $45 dollars. Because there's just one strap across you can put your hands through the sides without any protection. I now have to use it inside of my regular case for extra protection. I will not and cannot just carry this over my shoulder. Horribly designed and so so disappointed that I wasted my money!!!. Come on Stenograph, come out with a better product that makes us feel that our $5,000 machine is well protected!!!

This jet bag is advertised for people traveling on a "jet"..... It's not meant to be put in another case to protect your writer, although, that's how I'm using it now. If that were the case, I wouldn't be writing saying how disappointed I am.
This is ONLY advertised for people who travel. And to make such a flimsy "jet bag" that opens on the sides, not protected from inclement weather or from anything, is ridiculous.
Check your wheeled case with your other luggage and transfer your machine back into it when you arrive at your destination.
Maybe you were really needing this one: http://stenograph.com/productdetails.aspx?id=170001&subid=180001&childid=5920001&prodid=37983
Thanks, but I have all those cases. I was solely looking for that Jet Bag, thought it would be a great idea to use, but it didn't work out that way. Oh well, live and learn.

Cathy,
Why don't you try selling it on CSRnation?
Stenograph should refund our money, just a thought!! Yeah, right, that will never happen.
There's a big new world waiting out there for you. Try Depoman.com too.
I know a reporter who bought and returned the Stenograph foot pedal, so maybe...
