This morning my niece had a beautiful baby girl, named Sydney, after my Dad.

Isn’t she beautiful? Her chin is just like my sister’s. She looks like her Mommy and her Mommy is beautiful.

Thanks, does your Sydney have a nickname? I am hoping that Sydney Elizabeth is not called Sid.

Well, we know that she won’t be called Beth, but we will have to see. I see spending and sending stuff from here. I am cross stitching a quilt for her, but far from being done, and now I have an infected finger.

May she be healthy and happy. I just told Stuart I am making everyone coo over her. She was just an hour old in that picture.

I love handmade things too. As for the finger, I don’t have a clue, but it doesn’t hurt and is now, finally, getting better, slowly.
