Hello, my daughter acquired this beautiful puppy from the dog pound, and we would like to know what breeds she is mixed with.  We are sure that she is part labrador, but think that she might have some beagle or golden retriever.  She is only two months old, very even tempered and lovable.  We would like to know how big she will become as an adult.  She is the cutie on the viewer's right.  Her name is Nalah (from the Lion King films).

This is a close-up of Nalah's cute face. Although it's hard to tell from this photo, she has a long thin nose very similar to a beagle.  We appreciate any help or suggestions offered.  TY in advance.

She does look something like a beagle.  However, her ears are shorter and the eyes aren't quite the same.  She isn't marked like a beagle either.  There are honey colored beagles rather than tri-colored, but I've never seen one that's a solid color.  That doesn't mean they don't come that way though.  And when they are mixed, who knows what the results will be!

Hello, I am brand new here ... in fact, this is my first post, your post caught my eye immediately.   I have two rescued chow chows and the baby I got two years ago, I had a Canine Heritage DNA test done on him.   I researched the very many DNA tests available on line and this one came highly recommended.   I know some people think its silly but I was dying to know if he was mixed with something else, we thot maybe Golden Retreiver b/c he has such an absolutely wonderful personality but it was returned that he is a full chow ... it was so much fun finding out but the anticipation was nerve wracking, waiting on it to be returned.     Hope I am of some help!!!   LACIE

Definitely looks like some Golden Retriever or Yellow Lab in that pup

As others have said, there are DNA tests you can purchase to find out a lot about the
genetic background - ads are in most of the Dog magazines you can find at pet stores.  Don't remember what they cost, but they are NOT prohibitively expensive

OR google on 'DOG DNA TEST' and see what pops up
