Hi Linux Forum, I decided to see what it's like to post here from my G1. First, no surprise, the WYSIWYG editor doesn't work. The compsition window for the plain text editor comes up slightly wider than the G1 screen in landscape mode. Slightly annoying. I'm not going to try the spelling checker, I don't want to find out how the Android browser would handle the pop-up window and returning to the main window. Time to try to post. If you see this, posting works.

There is more than one way to skin a cat! If the compose box won't resize for Doug, Doug will resize the "window". I zoomed the Android browser out one level. I can now see the entire message input box, the text I'm typing is small but clear and legible - which is a tribute to the G1 screen.

Which gets higher praise, the G1 screen or Doug's eyes?

Ray,

The G1 screen. I've worn glasses for almost 30 years.

Mike,

Because I typed with itty bitty keys?

That is good to know.  Now I just wait for the Motorola phone to become available from one of our carriers here in Canada.

In the meantime, I am posting this from my Treo tethered to my Dell laptop.  Connection is slow, but usable!

Now I think we're going to have to go on a trip somewhere just so that I can use this setup.  :)

Frank.
