I am using Excel 2007 on a XP Pro SP3 system.

Given a sheet, how do I restrict a Find (CTRL+F) operation to a specific column?

How also do I look up an address, such as "100 Main" or "Main Street" in that column which contains street addresses?

Select the column before doing the find (and make sure the dialog is restricted to the current sheet rather than looking across the entire workbook - click Options on the basic Find dialog to check this).

How also do I look up an address, such as "100 Main" or "Main Street" in that column which contains street addresses?

Edit > Find >*Main*
