Today's lenquiz is described in Wiki as the lenquiz composer's most thoroughly revised work.  Also we have Shakespeare again! [g] So with the above and the following two CLUECLIPs name the composer and the work.  Regards, Len

With the trumpet calls and the sinister growling in the low trombones, how about Shakespeare's "Macbeth"? The composer has heard a lot of Wagner, seems like, but without forgetting Mendelssohn and other composers, which suggests Arthur Sullivan, and he did write an overture and incidental music for "Macbeth." But the music doesn't sound much like Sullivan.

John, you've scored!!!  I take it you don't know the composer but yes it's MacBeth.  Your award follows.  Regards, Len

>name the composer<

Well the composer still hasn't been named although the work has. So here's another hint--a work of the lenquiz composer some consider rather immature and the only  such work of the lenquiz composer of this type--certainly unfamiliar to me coming from the composer whose operas I love!  Regards, Len
