Many of us may not think the loose money policy being employed by Ben Bernanke will not be affecting us. This article by Brian Wesbury may enlighten you that Helicopter Ben may well be reducing your net worth and you may not even be realizing it. Click on the article dated Nov 2 and titled Ben Bernanke: The Real Pay Czar.

BTW, Brian is quite bullish on the economic recovery.

A weak dollar is good for the tourist industry, e.g. theme parks, hotels, and for exports. Buffet said this morning something about the increase in our exports. I guess B.W. would say it is only due to a weak dollar.

I don't think it is so much Ben as the spend crazy Congress that is hurting the dollar. I see M1, increasing and causing inflation. Pay that debt back in cheaper dollars.
