I got curious as to the age range of our Forum, so here's a simple poll. Sorry about stopping at 70, but they only allow ten answers.

Should we use our calendar age, or how old we feel?  <g>

I'm only 57, but most days I feel old.  On the other hand, a big weight moved north to his dad's place this past week, so my status may improve.

Still two months before I turn 56, so according to the categories, I could be 51. <g>

I've been hanging out off and on on this forum for 14 years, and I'm still apparently the youngest regular at 36.  Only one vote there, and it's mine.

Chris

I'm under the impression you, yourself, are about fifty.
I assume this because you graduated with a BS in 1982.
Am I mistaken?

Dude, your business website is down.

I am in good company it looks like.

Now that I have your attention.  does anyone know anything about potential caffiene allergy?   I thought it was almonds, but it is not. and coffee seems to be a common intake before these episodes.  Hope not love my coffee.

My mother had a caffeine sensitivity, for what it's worth. Not as bad as an allergy, but still not fun.

Hard as it is, the simplest way to find out would be to completely cut out caffeine for a week or so, and see how you feel. And then do the same thing with almonds. Note that almond allergy is pretty rare; if you're allergic to almonds you got pretty lucky. Or unlucky.

Don't cut them both at the same time or you won't be able to tell which (if either) is the problem <grin>.

It's also possible to be allergic to other stuff in the coffee than the caffeine, but that's not the way to bet.

I should mention that if you're physically addicted to caffeine (which many people are), you might well get a headache the first few days of being off caffeine, due to withdrawal. Drink lots of water; it might help.

Google rocks.<g>

I don't know that how he got it, but Googling on one's name brings up all kinds of things that you may have forgotten you said in a blog, letter to the editor, forum message, or some other online missive.

What George wrote.

I also know you have only practiced law for about seven years.

I'm impressed that you chose to pursue a career in law in you late thirties.

I am under the impression that you worked at a firm for a while before operating solo.

It's a thing I do, I kinda try to learn about and figure people out.  So no, I'm not stalking you, everything I know came about because of messages you posted in the forum.

Now please excuse me, the World Series is on TV.

I did.  I started my own firm because I had a unique but controversial business concept.  I was featured in a local news article and in a segment on NBC Nightly News a couple years ago.

Well, okay, but I'm moving and changing my phone number just in case. <g>
