Hi, Marie!
Welcome back! It has been a while, hasn't it? I'm still here, but I didn't buy any boomerangs <G>.
I also miss the good old days when we needed Compuserve software to use the forums, but progress made the changes that took place necessary. At least we've still got the forum to discuss our favorite TV shows and chat, so I hope you'll stick around!
In order to avoid the dreaded "thread drift", I also watched NCIS LA, but the jury is still out for me. I did enjoy it but, for some reason, it hasn't quite grabbed me yet.

I was very small when Elizabeth II had her coronation and it was actually televised (probably just bits shown in the US). I remember my mother saying that that nice new Queen of England had the same name as ME. <S>

I've never heard of "Dark Blue" myself, so maybe I'm not the only one and that's the reason it's not being discussed <G>! What network airs it?
There's still a few of the oldtimers here so you may run into a few more familiar faces.
Bonjour, Marie!
<and that's the extent of my French> <G>!
Some of the series on cable channels are far superior to those on network television (e.g. Mad Men, The Closer and Army Wives). I'll have to keep my eyes open for Dark Blue.
I'm not sure how many episodes are produced for the shows on TNT, AMC, Lifetime, etc., but I don't think it's the full 22. The season finale of Army Wives is this Sunday night, and it seems as though it only just started again.
Even though the old Compuserve forums are no longer, at least we are still able to discuss our favorite shows here. Unlike many other internet forums, members can feel safe posting their comments here because this forum is still moderated and there are no personal attacks or profanity allowed.
I also love Linda Hunt and am really enjoying her character. I had to google her because I couldn't remember where I had seen her before, and it was "The Practice" where she played a judge.
I don't know why, but NCIS LA still hasn't grabbed me yet. I'm going to keep watching, but I'm definitely not enjoying it as much as the original.
IMHO, "The Good Wife" is a keeper. I'm glad that Juliana finally got her own series and she's doing a great job. I thought Chris Noth was a series regular, but he's only listed as a special guest star in the opening credits, so it doesn't look as though he'll be sticking around.
