We have talked about a lot of the shows individually....and have now had a few weeks to view them... So, to you, which shows are duds and which are keepers.

My keepers are:
  1. the forgotten  - stars Christian Slater.  A team of non police people work to find information on unidentified cold case victims to give families and the cases closure.
  2. Three Rivers - Transplant Dr's work to save lives with organ donation
  3. The Good Wife - this one is good but on the fence....good enough to stay awhile though
  4. NCIS LA - not nearly as good as the original but has potential.  May need to change the support cast to get that perfect team fit!
I just couldn't get into
  1. Mercy - bored me
  2. Trauma - bored me
  3. Flash Forward - Just not a good fit for me
What does your list look like?

Hi, Laura!

My list is quite short because so far, I've only watched 3 new shows ... The Good Wife, Three Rivers and NCIS LA. I'm loving the first two and they're definite keepers, but I still can't get into NCIS LA. Last week's episode was the first one I managed to watch all of the way through, so maybe things are looking up <G>! I'll definitely watch tonight's show because Abby will be making an appearance. Maybe that's the idea <veg>!

I had such high hopes for NCIS LA and I was prepared to love it, so I'm really disappointed that, so far, I don't!

Susan

I am not warming up to NCIS LA either... It just doesn't flow the same as the original and the casting isn't nearly as good.  I think they tried to hard to get big names or something.

You should try watching the forgotten... I had taped it and didn't even realize it... I watched and thought it was excellent.

Hi, Laura!

I'm glad it's not just me who can't get into NCIS LA. I blame the writing because if the storylines were intriguing, I don't think I'd become bored. Also, I think the characters are trying too hard to mimic the characters on NCIS, and they're failing miserably.

I noticed that "The Forgotten" airs tonight and, since the entire CBS schedule is reruns, I'll check it out and let you know what I think. I subscribe to both the east coast and west coast networks so, if I really like it, I can start taping it at 1 o'clock in the morning because I can't miss "The Good Wife" at 10:00 p.m.

Susan

You'll have to let me know what you think about the forgotten.  I like that this team is trying to get john doe's back to their families for closure.  It is a little different, maybe that is why I like it!! <g>

The Good Wife has won me over, so, ummmm...could you quit watching it so it won't get canceled? <VBEG>

Hi, Laura! I really enjoyed "The Forgotten" and will definitely watch again next week, although I wish they'd told us what happened to Katie. I hope someone gave her a good home ! Thanks for recommending it! >>The Good Wife has won me over, so, ummmm...could you quit watching it so it won't get canceled? ! Susan Edited to add that I realized why I enjoyed "The Forgotten" so much when I saw Jerry Bruckheimer's name in the closing credits. I was surprised, though, because I thought all of his shows aired on CBS.
