Very cool. I am using Netscape Browser 7.2. I clicked on the link, a new window popped up, the d/l screen said it didn't know how to open the file and at the same time McAfee popped up with "A Virus" warning. Very fast. And at least I know my virus protection works, unless I let something in on my own.

It worked.I have avgfree. And it deteced it as soon I went to open the file.Very cool! thanks

Wow, that takes me back. I remember the Eicar test string from McAfee when I was using an Apple IIe, you had to type it in manually and then save it to a floppy to test that McAfee AV was functioning properly. Thanks for the link, and the blast from the past! I didn't think I'd ever see Eicar again...
