Would there be a spider solitaire available here for a Pentium II with Windows 98?

Hi Janet,

We currently have 2 Solitaire Game downloads in our library. Neither mentions Spider Solitaire specifically, but either may provide the functionality. The first one ("FreeSol")  is available here:-

This file dates back to 1998, so I would be very suprised if it didn't work on a Pentium II running Windows 98. It contains several versions of Card Solitaire.

The second one, PIKNIC.EXE, is more modern, dating back to 2003, but it doesn't say what operating systems it works under.

Thanks, Keith!

I didn't even worry about the newer one. FREESOL.ZIP sez, "Play Forty Thieves, Free Cell, Indian Patience, Klondike, Montana, Pyramid, SeaHaven Towers, and Spider."

Huzza!

AND Free Cell - for some reason, the version that comes with Windows has died on each of my computers.

Thanks again!

I don't know how I missed the "and Spider" in the description! Anyway - hope it works for you!

Having tried it, I may download the other solitaire file, just to see if the newer one includes Spider. :) I'll let you know.
